What are the legal requirements to getting married in MA?
Couples who wish to be married in Massachusetts must apply in person, together and at the same time and have a marriage license issued within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Both parties must show valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport).
